How to create card categories and subcategories, move cards, and add different images for the same word.

  1. Open the admin menu
  2. Open the add menu
  3. Choose a category
  4. Name the category
  5. Add the category at the end
  6. Save the category
  7. Open the category
  8. Add a card inside
  9. Choose a card
  10. Type a name
  11. Pick a picture
  12. Save the card
  13. Go back to the set’s cards
  14. Move the apple
  15. Move the banana
  16. Open “Fruit”
  17. Open the add menu
  18. Add a subcategory
  19. Name the subcategory
  20. Save the subcategory
  21. Move the first apple
  22. Open the subcategory
  23. Add a second card
  24. Choose a card
  25. Type a name
  26. Pick the second apple
  27. Save the second apple
  28. Go back to the communicator
  29. Open “Fruit”
  30. Open the subcategory

When there are many cards, group them into categories — folders on the communicator board so it does not get crowded.

Create the “Fruit” category, add “Pear”, and move the existing “Apple” and “Banana” cards inside.

Categories can be nested. Inside “Fruit”, create an “Apples” subcategory, move the first Apple card into it, and add another Apple card with a different pictogram.

In the communicator, open “Fruit” and then “Apples” to reach both variants.
