The most common stall is when the first cards are in place but it is unclear how to keep developing communication. This map shows the order of goals: each one is a separate, clear step with a guide on how to introduce and how to advance it.
Level 1. Physical card exchange
One card on screen. The learner taps it with physical guidance from an adult. The goal is to link the action 'take the card' with receiving what they want.
Level 3. Discriminating between cards
Choosing between two or more options. Substages 3.1 (desired vs. non-desired), 3.2 (choice between desired), 3.3 (context and unavailable options).
Level 4. Sentence structure
Cards are grouped by categories. Compound phrases like 'I want an apple' appear. The platform generates grammatical speech on its own.
